DC trip

Geez, so much has happened since my last post. I went to the Frozen Four of NCAA hockey in DC. Was soooo much fun. Hockey is a great game to watch, first of all. Second of all DC is incredible. So much to do and see, four or five days is not enough. Kinda a pain in the ass was having the parents in tow. Heightened stress levels to extremes. Simple day out to view National Landmark?.... factor in control freak not believing you're on the right bus. This is right after mother has problems with her gastrointestritis (or whatever it is)(which is something really bad that you don't EVER want to be cursed with) so you miss the first bus to get to said Landmark. And you try to take them to a nice restaurant and you are "the man" paying WAY too fucking much and perpetuating high priced restaurants. Never thought I'd utter these words, but "God bless Hooters!" Seriously they were the best bar in the little area we were in, by far. How sad is that? LOL Hooked up with some locals though, and boy did we have a good time. One that takes a while to recover from. Went to a local cigar bar and TORE it up. Anyway, we will be going back. Best quote from experience: "you're white, you'll get a cab, no problem!"
